• Our 1st offering each Sunday is for the General Fund. Our 2nd offering this week will be for the Hope Fund. This fund is used to help those in our congregation in times of need.

• Next Sunday’s second offering is for the Ministry Center / Building Fund.

• From the Service Shepherds: As we move into the final months of the year, we want to share that giving during the summer months was lower than anticipated, and we are currently behind budgeted giving for the year.  We encourage each member to prayerfully consider their giving as we work together to support the ministry and mission of BOH.​​​​​​​​

Sunday School

It's fall ya'll!  We will be starting Sunday School this week.  Students ages TK-12th grade can head down the hallway to their classes immediately following the service.  Out of respect for the classrooms we are borrowing, please do not bring hot chocolate or other beverages to the classrooms. Snacks will be provided for students. Classrooms will be labeled by grade, and teachers will be there to welcome students. Younger students ages TK-4 will be going to the end of the hallway for a large group worship time and meeting teachers there.

I am so grateful for another year of Sunday School to start. It is a joy to see the baptismal promises of this congregation carried out so faithfully. It has been a humble privilege to help serve in that ministry. My prayers are with families and students this year as they continue their faith walks. Thanks, Sarah Stoub

CONNECT & UNITE (Youth Group for 6th-8th grade {CONNECT} and 9th-12th grade {UNITE})​​

• October 24: CONNECT/UNITE Activity - Fields of Fun!

• Meet at Fields of Fun at 7, and pickup is at 8:30. Entry fee is covered by Bridge, but anything extra students will need to have their own money to spend.

• October 28: UNITE OCC Service Project - Meet/Pickup at the MC

First Friday Diners: THIS Friday, October 2—The Garage Bar & Grille in Inwood (carpool from MC)

Meet us at the Ministry Center at 5:30 pm to carpool to Inwood or join us at the restaurant at 6 pm. The Garage is a family-friendly establishment offering American cuisine. Winter Warm Up

This year's Winter Warm Up Giveaway is being held on Saturday, October 24 at Kinsey Elementary in Sioux Center. We are looking for volunteers to help with both set-up on Friday afternoon (23rd - 4pm-6pm), and for the event on Saturday (24th - 8:30am-1:00pm). Talk to any of us on the team, or sign-up at the link below if this is something you can help with! We have a particular need for volunteers who are bilingual (English/Spanish).

Regional POST High Young Single Adults

• Nov 7 (Saturday) at 6pm we will be meeting at the east side Walmart in Sioux Falls, SD with our Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes.  We will be shopping together, packing the shoes boxes, and sharing some pizza. • Nov 21 (Saturday) we will be having our "FRIENDSGIVING MEAL" at the Inwood IA CRC at 6pm and having Bible Study afterwards. Bring a favorite game. From the Council:

Sarah Stoub has shared her decision to step down from her role as Sunday School Director, with her final Sunday in this role being October 4.

We are incredibly grateful for Sarah and the time, energy, creativity, and care she has poured into the children and families of Bridge of Hope. Throughout her time in this role, Sarah has faithfully invested in creating a place where our children are invited to become followers of Jesus. Her care has extended beyond Sunday mornings as she has supported teachers, encouraged families, and helped shape a ministry where our kids can experience the love of Jesus and the joy of belonging to His church.

Sarah has been an important part of the life and ministry of Bridge of Hope, and we are deeply thankful for the gifts she has shared and the ways she has invested in the next generation. There is much to celebrate from her time as Sunday School Director, and we hope you will join us in expressing your gratitude to her and praying for her as she transitions out of this particular role.

We are excited to continue building on the strong foundation of children’s discipleship at Bridge. Sunday School will continue as we move forward, and we will communicate more about the transition and next steps.

Would you like an announcement made on a Sunday morning before or during the worship service? If so, please fill out the Sunday morning announcement form. Please submit the form by the Thursday before the Sunday you would like the announcement made, preferably earlier if possible. The form can be found here.

Koinonia Prayer Requests

Prayer requests on Sunday mornings at Bridge of Hope have historically been taken verbally during worship. To help make sharing requests more accessible to all, a google form has been created so that people can share requests at a different time and method than verbally on Sunday morning. Prayer requests submitted this way will be included in the email that gets sent to the body each week on either Monday or Tuesday. (Please note: Any prayer requests submitted after the Koinonia Prayer email has been sent that week will wait to be emailed out until the following week. Also, requests made here will not be verbalized on Sunday mornings by the Pastoral Shepherd leading Koinonia Prayer.)
