• Our first offering each Sunday is for the General Fund. Our second offering for the remainder of October will be for ATLAS of Sioux Center. A.T.L.A.S. (Attaining Truth Love And Self-control) is a Christ-centered ministry that provides personal development services to individuals and families who are hurting for a variety of reasons. ATLAS of Sioux Center works with churches and resource organizations in our community to meet the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of people. • Reformation Day Service: Each year, the CRC churches in Sioux Center gather for a combined Reformation Day Service. This year, Bridge of Hope and Bethel are co-hosting, with Pastor Sam preaching.

Prayer is an opportunity to slow down and learn the practices of prayer that have been followed by Christians throughout the centuries. Rather than simply learning about prayer, we’ll have the opportunity to actually practice prayer—learning to be with God, talk with God, listen to God, and become more aware of His presence in our everyday lives. This study will coincide with our current sermon series, “The Lord’s Prayer,” giving us an opportunity to explore Jesus’ teaching on prayer on Sunday and then put it into practice throughout the week. Together, we’ll learn to follow Jesus not just by believing what He taught, but by practicing the way He lived. Come learn to pray, not just more, but differently.

Biblical Foundations of Living Toward 2030

What does scripture have to say about who we are called to be as a church? Join us for a three-week study led by Pastor Sam as we explore the biblical foundations that have shaped our vision for Bridge of Hope. Together, we will look at Scripture, talk about what it means for us today, and consider how we can faithfully live out this vision as we move toward 2030.

Women’s Retreat 2026!

Join us on a Saturday in late October as we gather at "The Sanctuary," a vacation home on the Big Sioux River near Larchwood, Iowa. It's a beautiful setting for a women's one-day. Be our guest on Saturday, October 24, from 9:00am-3:30pm for fellowship, delicious food, and a time to be refreshed as we connect with our self, connect with others, and connect with God. The day will be led by Sandi Altena, with others contributing at various times. Come on your own or car-pool from the Ministry Center with others. Attendance will be capped at 30 women. Winter Warm Up a local ministry that shares the love of Christ by distributing free winter gear to our neighbors

This year's Winter Warm Up Giveaway is being held on Saturday, October 24 at Sioux Center Middle School. We are looking for volunteers like you willing and able to serve! Would you consider helping out for either set-up on Friday afternoon (October 23 - 4pm-6pm), and/or for the event on Saturday (October 24 - 8:30am-1:00pm)? Hallelujah Party-Volunteers Sign up!

Please make plans to serve at the Hallelujah Party this year! To sign up, please click here. The Hallelujah Party is a family-oriented alternative to trick-or-treating that provides games, prizes, a scavenger hunt, and other fun activities. Bridge of Hope has been hosting the Hallelujah Party for over 25 years, and it has become a treasured community event for all. The Hallelujah Party draws over 1,300 community members, and will be held Saturday, October 31 from 5:30-7:30 at the Dordt University Rec Center. We cannot do it without your help, thanks for giving of your time as we provide a safe and fun event for our community! Thank you!

Hallelujah Party Planning Team Invitation

If you are interested in exploring being part of the HP Planning Team, you are invited to shadow this year to see what it is all about! If you are interested in giving it a try, we have space for 1 or 2 people. What does it mean to “belong” at Bridge of Hope? We want everyone, members and visitors alike, to know. That’s why we developed and offer a membership course—a two-session experience that invites active participation.

WHO:

• If you’re a VISITOR, please join us! This is an opportunity to gain a clearer picture of who we are. It’s also a great way to meet more people! There is no expectation of joining Bridge of Hope afterwards.

• If you’re a MEMBER, consider joining us as well! It’s a wonderful refresher on what it means to truly belong to Bridge of Hope.

• And, if you’re CONSIDERING MAKING PROFESSION OF FAITH, this is an opportunity to learn more about what we believe.

Sunday Morning Announcement Form

Would you like an announcement made on a Sunday morning before or during the worship service? If so, please fill out the Sunday morning announcement form. Please submit the form by the Thursday before the Sunday you would like the announcement made, preferably earlier if possible. The form can be found here.

Koinonia Prayer Requests

Prayer requests on Sunday mornings at Bridge of Hope have historically been taken verbally during worship. To help make sharing requests more accessible to all, a google form has been created so that people can share requests at a different time and method than verbally on Sunday morning. Prayer requests submitted this way will be included in the email that gets sent to the body each week on either Monday or Tuesday. (Please note: Any prayer requests submitted after the Koinonia Prayer email has been sent that week will wait to be emailed out until the following week. Also, requests made here will not be verbalized on Sunday mornings by the Pastoral Shepherd leading Koinonia Prayer.)
