For the first 45 minutes, we will conclude our study through Colossians. During the final 45 minutes, we would like to hear from each of you as we look ahead to a new year of discipleship and ministry. If it does not work for you to attend both parts of the evening, please know you are welcome to come for whichever part you are able to attend.

Men’s Study

The last study this session will be this Thursday, November 13 at 7:00pm at the Dave Cave, 510 13th Ave SW. Questions? Contact adultdiscipleship@bridgecrc.org.

Save the date!

Women’s Gift Wrap Gathering on Wednesday, December 3, 6:30-9:00pm, at the Ministry Center. Join us for a time of fellowship, fun, and finger food as you wrap your Christmas gifts. Wrapping supplies will be provided, or you can bring your own, if you prefer. Come and go as you like!

From your Care Team:

The Care Team is focusing on our responsibility to provide leadership in empowering the body to care for each other in meaningful ways. Please prayerfully consider how your gifts could be used by being available for joining others in providing meal support, mowing lawns, giving rides, or cleaning and minor maintenance for those in need. Please email careteam@bridgecrc.org with your name, contact information, and specific ways you are willing and able to help in caring for the body. The team will use your information to create a list of people to contact when needs arise.

POST HIGH YOUNG ADULTS (SINGLES 18-30 YEARS):

We will be meeting for our next Bible Study on Saturday, November 15 (6pm) at the Inwood IA CRC. Use the middle door in front of the church (it's a single door). We will continue our study from the book "Ephesians Your Place in God's Plan" by Richard Coekin, lesson 3...Ephesians 2 "New Life, New People." We have the books and there is no prep work needed to attend. We will also be sharing a "Friendsgiving Meal" together. Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and drinks will be provided. Each of the Young Adults are asked to bring a side dish, dessert, or bread/rolls to share...the challenge is to bring something that begins with the first letter of your first name. In order for everyone to know how much food to bring we need to have your RSVP to Lee @ 712-470-4244 by November 12 at 6pm.

Sunday Morning Announcement Form

Would you like an announcement made on a Sunday morning before or during the worship service? If so, please fill out the Sunday morning announcement form. Please submit the form by the Thursday before the Sunday you would like the announcement made, preferably earlier if possible. The form can be found here.

Koinonia Prayer Requests

Prayer requests on Sunday mornings at Bridge of Hope have historically been taken verbally during worship. To help make sharing requests more accessible to all, a google form has been created so that people can share requests at a different time and method than verbally on Sunday morning. Prayer requests submitted this way will be included in the email that gets sent to the body each week on either Monday or Tuesday. (Please note: Any prayer requests submitted after the Koinonia Prayer email has been sent that week will wait to be emailed out until the following week. Also, requests made here will not be verbalized on Sunday mornings by the Pastoral Shepherd leading Koinonia Prayer.) Submitting an online prayer request can be done by following this link: https://forms.gle/bryoqnHv7zjy5cyj7.
